Welcome! My name is Margarita Marquez Ortiz, a dedicated real estate professional with over 14 years of experience in the real estate market.
I have earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the Universidad del Sagrado Corazon in San Juan, Puerto Rico, majoring in Journalism with a minor in Business, driven to write regarding important island topics and societal issues. I’ve always been passionate about my island's needs and how I could help people to see the true beauty of what Puerto Rico has to offer.
My calling for Real Estate, started in 2011 when I joined the Dorado Beach Real Estate team, selling both new development and resales within the recognized and award-winning, Dorado Beach Resort and Dorado Beach, Ritz Carlton Reserve Hotel.
In the process of helping clients with their relocation to Puerto Rico, I achieved selling over $220M within a short period of time. My warm and personal approach earned me one of the top spots as a Residential Sales Manager, at just a young age.
Being a key component in the launching of the Resale division within the Dorado Beach developer’s office, working hand in hand with DB Realty, I secured over $80M in Resale transactions, achieving bonds with clients, guiding them within their first steps when searching for a home, to navigating Puerto Rico, and enjoying creating memories in their new piece of Paradise.
As a Dorado native, I witnessed its great transformation, watching it evolve into the heart of Luxury Tourism in Puerto Rico. Its development into one of the best beach towns in Puerto Rico consists in top of top-of-the-line healthcare hospitals, award-winning hotels, a savory mix of restaurants, bars, and miles of pristine beaches. My intimate knowledge of this region, and my experiences of having lived here, give me enthusiasm and a desire to make my home your home!
